He's getting the ol' Betadine cleansing following by silver sulfadine cream.

We thought Lola was so clever--looking for poops to help restore her probiotic balance. She's so old, she might have piggy dementia!

That is funny. Nice to find something is relatively harmless (bar obsessive, repetitive butt licking!).

Very funny. Sometimes I worry I am slipping into dementia but I don't do that....

Bo died a little while ago. It was very, very quick and peaceful. His decline--lower appetite, unsteady on his legs--had been progressing, but we didn't realize he was quite so close to the end.

Almost seven years old, he had a great life. He always had a spayed sow to rumble at. Never had impaction or needed to be handfed or to endure a subcue. We've been cherishing every minute since he started finally to really show his age around six months ago. It's never long enough.

(Letting her hijack his thread--Bo's buttmunching girlfriend Lola has made an amazing recovery. Not putting her weight back on but lively and sassy again.)

Oh, I'm sorry, mmeadow. :( It sounds like he had a terrific, long life, though.

I'm very sorry. But it does sound as though you all had a great life together.

A sad spring in the Boston area. Bo was a lucky pig to have been picked up by you. I'm glad he went peacefully. Hugs.

Thanks, all. A sad couple of days in Boston pigdom, Pooksie. Bo went to a lot of pignics! We're also thinking of you and your beautiful Wedgie.
