Max is a gorgeous cavy model, and Toby has a very nice, handsome crest.

Both Max and Toby look like a good size so Max is obviously not letting Toby bully him out of his food. Well done Max!

Wheras many on Guinea Lynx have discussed growing wheatgrass for their pigs, Toby and Max would like to recommend a variety of grasses in your lawn. Different grasses thrive in different soils and conditions. This is important for a lush, full lawn.

The boys fully appreciate variety; picking out their favourite blades.

Image

There is grass all over the fleece because Max really gets into his food. He will dig for bits at the bottom of the bowl and head chuck the rest out!

Image

Toby would like to say that he is embarassed by his brother's gluttonous behaviour. Grass should be eaten blade-by-blade, savouring each flavour; not gobbled. How uncouth!

He does have that "oh brother" look on his face. :)

Poppy will work around the grass until it's all done, Dusty will chuck it everywhere. And eat most of it for herself (because she's greedy, oh so greedy.. but shush, don't tell her I said that ;P) :D

I love how they put their little foot on the vege/grass as if to say, mine, this is all mine. Carry on Max, there's more than enough for everyone.

One day, Max climbed all the way into the dish. He hopped back out when I got my camera, but it was so cute. That bum almost didn't fit!

Hello Everybodee!

It's Max here. Toby and I are on holiday at the moment. I think I'm too far from the hub because the internet keeps cutting out, but I really can't complain: the sun is shining, there's a soft breeze, and Toby is totally zonked, so I get the loptop.

I've been eating for almost 1-1/2 hours now and have paused to rest. We are staying at our timeshare in the Back Garden. It's a gated estate two cabanas, a gazebo, water fountain, and race track. And tons of food! Food everywhere! I'm parked in the Pig Port which is part of the Eagle Eye Protection Program.

We both love the timeshare and recommend it to all you pigs. We'd be happy to swap with you! Our only complaint is that after hours at the grass snack bar, we go into bed (another part of the Eagle Eye Protection Program), we wheek for lettuce and veg and get told we already ate all day, we can eat hay and pellets. But we still get biscuits and peppers if there are any on the go.

Well, Toby's waking up, so it must be time for another round of eating. Keep in touch!

Max

Max here again. What a day we've had. I let Mum scoop me up because we usually go outside for grass now that it's so warm. But no! What's this?

Image

I wasn't alone for long when Toby joined me.

Image
Hey, Tobes! What's this all about? Any ideas? I can smell the parsley there on the window sill.

Toby says, "This is a bath! That's what this is about!"

Image

Personally, I didn't see what Toby was so upset about. Yeah, it smelled funny, but it was warm and we did get parsley.
I asked Mum if we were done yet.
Image
But she said no. We needed to soak. Tobes and I thought we were wet and soapy enough! Toby was already starting to sulk. It doesn't take much to get him going.

I love reading their updates. It's easy to see Toby was not impressed.

Well, Mum proceeded to wash my bum and I cried. I hate having my bum rubbed. So when parsley was offered, I was all upset and couldn't eat. Toby ate all but one sprig.

Anyway, we came out wet and smelly. We had so much grooming to do! We groomed:

And shook!

And groomed:
Image

I use the term 'we' loosely. I stayed upstairs in the cottage in case we got washed again!
Image

But Mum, being Mum, felt sorry for us and brought food!
Image

So I'm happy! But Toby still doesn't trust her.
Image

He keeps warning me that those hoomans shan't be trusted. They give us all kinds of goodies, and then, BAM! They cut our toes off and give us baths or medicine. I hate to admit that he's right. After our treats, we were scooped up and rubbed with towels again! But hey, my tummy tells me that it's all worth it.

Hi, Charlie here! You don't get the noisy warm thing after a bath? I like the noisy warm thing. It's one of the best parts of a bath. Oh, the hooman says the noisy warm thing might be too hot where you are. It's winter here so the noisy warm thing was lots of fun.

Hiya Charlie. I don't like loud noises, so Mum probably spares me the noisy thing. Toby doesn't like anything. I know Mum uses a noisy thing on her hair and it makes it stand on end! Can't say I'd like that.
