Callie is such a doll, even when she's had her beauty nap interrupted. Her look seems to say, 'Why did you wake me if there are no yum yums involved?'.

Unfortunately, I did not move quite fast enough to catch a certain proud, little eagle averse, stripeyface abby in the act.

Day 180 something, and these humans haven't thrown me out, yet. Like my other humans did. Maybe, I really am going to get to stay.

Well, Little Red Bear isn't feeling too good. The vet isn't sure if it is pneumonia or CHF . On the x-ray, Red Bear's left lung field wasn't even visible.

If neither the lasix; nor, the Baytril have any effect, then it will be game over.

I hope the meds work.

Sorry to hear about Red Bear. Did the vet also discuss nebulization treatment? Lynx had posted the link for more details on nebulization and am re-posting it for your reference. http://www.guinealynx.info/records/viewtopic.php?t=58

Also check out the medical thread by Grace 505 titled on-going URI, A/Bs not working for her experience and discussion on the URI. http://www.guinealynx.info/forums/viewtopic.php?t=64949&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0

My girl had a recurring URI and vet recommended nebulization with an antibiotic + saline. Best wishes for Little Bear.

The initial injection of Lasix the vet gave did not appear to have any effect on Red Bear. However, twelve hours after her first dose of Baytril, the red hooligan started showing real signs of life for the first time in days.
