Rosie has taken a sudden bad turn tonight. I don't know what is wrong, and I'm really freaked out. Please cross your fingers for her.
I will try & update at some point tomorrow, after our vet appointment.

Thanks all. I know it is cliche, but all day, I can't help but wonder if I made her final hours worse by trying to handfeed and water her, or if I made them better by keeping her home and giving her lots of cuddles.
She had some time with Princess as well before she went.
We've chosen not to do a necropsy, and will be burying her in the backyard when the rain stops (hopefully, tomorrow).

How is Princess doing? Stop trying to second guess yourself. She was with you at the end and certainly knew how much she was loved.

Princess, is Princess - she's not backing down on her to-human demands, but I think she misses her buddy.
