Thank you :)

I think it's brilliant that you remember him GP_mum. It makes me happy knowing that other people got to see his silly face, and even remember it.

It's an awful feeling skinnypigs1. He went in for surgery, and that was it, I never saw him again. I've always been able to say goodbye previously. And now I know how lucky I've been, as over the years many of my pigs have had some sort of anaesthetic (including Fozzy a few times) and they've all been fine and dandy afterwards.

I could post photo's of him all day, he really was a silly pig.

But hey ho, we must let our loved ones rest and move on with the story.

Next up, a hello from the remaining piglets...

When that happened with Rugby, I just thought so many sad thoughts. Mainly I found it felt like something was left unsaid or I was worried he didn't know how much I loved him enough because I thought I'd see him later :(

I look forward to seeing pictures of more little pigs :)

I'm sorry you lost him. Surgery is one of my fears as well for pigs.

He was so fuzzley!

My piggy trio was down to a duo.

Anselmo had settled in well. He'd been with us a few months now, and had grown into a good ripe potato.

Image

He was the first black pig I'd had, and taking photo's of him was really difficult.

Arnold was lost for a while after Fozzy died. For a few weeks he seemed to be looking for him. I'm glad be had Anselmo with him to cope.

Arnold had come out of his shell alot over the part few months with living with Fozzy and Anselmo. He was no longer my shy hiding pig.

2010 was a completely sucky year. Hopefully it would come to a end with some happiness in the air!

Anselmo looks alot like my girl, dow to his listtle white crest and brown collar (although her's ends at the top). However, she's now really tiny as she has a cyst (surgery has been scheduled) and lost weight. Not that she was very big to begin with as she's a picky eater.

Glad to hear that Arnold is coming out his shell. He's a real cutie-pie.

As I wanted Christmas to be a happy time for the guineas and I, and I had so many wonderful Christmas photos on here I wanted to have a photoshoot with my two lovely boys to use a e-cards and to keep as happy memories.

The two silly faces together:

It was Pets at Home NCiS. The boys really like it, although my current two find it a bit of a squeeze.

Santa Claws did turn up, and he brought them a lovely dinner:

Anselmo was so hungry he tipped up his dish! "How uncouth" thinks Arnold
Image

Arnold was always a bit of a scaredy pig, so decided to take his food under cover, away from eagles
Image

But he did grace us with his presence too

Obviously not a guinea pig, but my dog Jessie had a lovely Christmas too:

Although she was an old lady (13) and so all of the present opening was a bit tiring for her.

This photo makes me laugh. Although it has a glare from the sun on it you can just see Anselmo's tongue sticking out. What a silly pig!

Lovely Christmas photos. Arnold has such an innocent expression on his face in all his pics. Anselmo looks like he would get along with my spayed female. She's mostly black with some brown but also has white crest. She's my smallest but full of energy and can stand her ground if needed.

I really need to keep on top of this chronicle!. It's been a tough time as the piggy that will be introduced next died in September, very unexpectedly and I'm still finding it a bit difficult to look at his photos.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the loss of Fozzy I decided that I was going to be a two pig family for quite a while. Fozzy was a great pig and it would have been very difficult to replace him. Plus, Arnold and Anselmo were getting along really well, so I thought we'd keep things the same as long as possible.

I tried to avoid pet stores that had rescued pigs in, avoided looking at the RSPCA website and avoided the Placement section on Guinea Lynx. But, look what was in Cavy Chat:

Oh no!!

Look at this little guy:

So, on 23rd January 2011 we welcomed another little face into the family.

It took a little while for him to get a name. He was originally called Iggy, because he was originally found out in the snow, in a cardboard box with his siblings, all snuggled under an igloo.

But, I'm not known for my normal named piggies! I was originally going to go for Darrell, as my favourite band is Pantera. But, I didn't want to push my luck as the members of Pantera had a bust up and the band spilt.

So, after much to-ing and fro-ing we settled for Toki Wartooth. After this guy:

Toki Wartooth from Dethklok. Perfect!

I do remember Toki (your pigs are pretty memorable just by their names alone, although I always love how rounded and solid they look as well) from the photos you posted of him. He really was a handsome boar.
