A brief recap:
I was happily living my life in Richmond, attending college, going to classes, volunteering with cats, and sharing my one bedroom apartment with 3 kitties:
One Saturday night, I drove home from an adoption drive and stopped by teh dumpster to throw out my trash (yummm Sonic!) It was pouring rain, and there was even some hail! When I opened the side of the dumpster to put the bag in I heard a noise and saw a box moving.
Now they're like this:(except bigger now)
Their names are Twister and Tempest
A couple weeks later, some neighbors I had a passing aquaintance with brought me this:
Who now looks like this:
Her name is Tallulah, and she's due to have babies any day now.
We're now a happy family of 7.
Although we currently have a visitor:
A 5-yr old pregnant sow I've been calling 'Phyllis' (from the Office)
iastate, yes, the poor thing is STILL pregnant, I think I descibed her to someone as 'bulbous' the other day. She's very firm and I can only imagine the babies have GOT to be running out of room. I think we're on day 67 of my owning her, so any day now! I'm wondering if she's crossing her little legs because she thinks there are sharks around... (I've been watching shark week)
No I will NOT let Tallulah have this bed! MINE.
*Munch, Munch* Nobody here but us hay.
This bed CLEARLY suits me better!
Nobody ever let's me have the bed...
What's that you say?
I'm sorry, I can't hear you! Did you say veggies?!?
No Twister, you canNOT leave the hut.
Can I help you?
This is my best side.
(I'm trying photobucket, but I think I like flickr much better!)
(ETA: I tried resizing them, but only one resized! ugh)

Now this next photo is of Tallulah's midwife.
Mischa stayed by Tallulah's side all day yesterday, she wouldn't go more than 2 feet from the cage all day, she's the only other pet I have with baby experience.
She stayed up all night with Tallulah, and is now totally exhausted haha
Landos: I like the names Taffy and Twizzler too but I'm waiting a bit before I name them.
