We had a little party thing at work a couple of days ago, and guess who volunteered to bring a vegetable tray? I had piggy motives at heart. There were leftovers, which I figured there would be, so guess who all had a little veggie party with their dinner that night? Happy-happy piggies. Celery and baby carrots and tiny tomatoes, oh boy.
Also, if your pigs have always found oranges too strong, you might want to try the "cuties" or clementines. Mine love the little clementine sections as a vitamin C treat, and they are not so strong-citrusy. Even super-picky Louie likes them. Sometimes my boys squint up their eyes at oranges and won't touch them, as though the acidity is too much. Do watch out for seeds, though, they do have them. Not many, but they are there.
