It's almost done! There are a LOT of photos so I am going to make them 'small' for here. This is the link to Fairy's Blog if you would like to see them a bit larger!

Won't be long now :)

Oh, We Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside! Episode 1

SQUEEK – Oh this is the life. A holiday by the sea. Peace, perfect peace. Nothing to do but relax, lots of lovely sun and no one to boss us about. What could possibly disturb this idyllic tranquillity?
Image

Yoo hooooo – Mousies, don’t panic, your beloved Fairy is here.

This looks just the spot to li-lo for a while.
Image

SQUEAK – Oh well, it was good while it lasted. They do say ‘Life’s a Beach’!

Looks like our holiday just started to get ‘interesting’.
Image

What’s all this then? Oh no, no, no.
We can’t have itsy bitsy little undersized sand pies cluttering-up the beach now can we?
Image

Right, everyone pay attention and everything. There has been far too much slacking going on.
Image

And, more importantly, it has come to my notice that the sand pies on this here beach are far too small.

If we are going to win the inaugural Fairy’s Biggest Sand Castle on the Beach competition, there will need to be some changes.
Image

SQUEAK – well this one looks plenty big enough to me – I can hardly see over it.
Image

SQUEAK – resistance is futile!

When Fairy has a ‘Big Idea”, it’s a lot quicker and certainly an awful lot quieter, just to let her get on with it.
Image

Hummmph – very artistic, but we need it to be much, much, MUCH bigger!
Image

Goodness, that was quick. Better, but still not quite the ticket.
Image

Oh I see the problem here. You can’t reach up any higher.
Image

Well luckily for you, Sir Plantagenet Big-Mouse is here to lend his mighty paw.
Image

Oh I do hope he gets a move on – it must be nearly snack time.
Image

Finished? Brilliant! About time too.
Image

It was lucky I had arranged for Sir Plantagenet Big-Mouse and Primrose to show you the way.

And now it’s time for the grand prize giving ceremony.
Image

Ahem – it gives one great pleasure to declare the winner of the highly prestigious Fairy’s . . .
Image

Ooooh – what’s this bit for?
Image

Obviously I really do know of course – just checking that you are on the ball young Buster m’lad.
Image

Ah yes – clearly, it is a super duper, 5 star luxury extra-cosy beach apartment Sand Castle for entertaining A-List celebrities.
Image

You can all carry on doing whatever I might require you to be doing – and be quick about it.
Image

I’ll just rest my eyes for a few min . . . zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Image

SQUEAK – phew, that worked jolly well. Let’s enjoy a bit of peace, while it lasts.

Give us a kiss, Monty!

Wherever did you get the mouse-sized chairs? They're adorable. Glad to see Fairy is taking everyone in hand and making sure all is done correctly. Hurry and wake up little girl. We're all waiting for the rest of the story.

What a lovely update on their day at the beach. I too an't get over the tiny details and items for the mousies. Lovely details and the sandcastle crash pad is gorgeous.

Fairy would just make the best subject for a photobook on how to take proper care of piggies with or without special needs.

The mousies can help explain it all!

Are you kidding me Mildred?
This is again a wonderful story that was brilliantly told, photographed and choreographed!!

I love every part of it, even the little stowaway...
But I have to ask, where is momo's favorite FairyLand resident Mr. Bear?

Mr Bear (and his perpetually empty glass) are there, Momo.

Haha! I think the gang were trying to ignore Mr Bear and his sherry! But, don't worry, Momo, he plays a prominent role in Episode 2! And although I am not one given to hinting at things to come, it turns out there's more than one character who enjoys a tipple :0

Goodness, all your super comments make this so worthwhile! I have to admit it WAS great fun playing in the sand myself though :)))
