I'm sorry Chubbles is having these problems and wish the best for her. Congratulations on Truffle Mouse. She's cute!

Less cute/fab now she turns out to be a dominant pig and bit Pudding during first attempt introduction.. ugh.

Oh dear, sorry to hear that in addition to Chubbles issues that you now have 2 pigs trying to fight for position of top pig. I hope Chubbles is doing ok.

What are you still planning to do with Truffle who's very cute and has lovely colouring. It's so hard when introducing a new pig to the existing herd.

She bit Pudding pretty bad (puncture wound, graphic: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152517714368999&l=fca9ae7ea7 ) so she's separated again. I may do it in stages. I know her and Nibbler get along, so I may pair her up with her for a few weeks and then try again with Pudding.
They're divided by grids so they can still see/smell/interact with each other.

It looked so peaceful... then an hour later hell broke loose!!

Truffle was all like 'W00t? I didn't start it' after the fight.

The 1st photo was probably the calm before the storm. Everyone looked pretty relaxed. Poor Truffle, she looked rather stressed out after her disagreement with Pudding. AT least she and Nibbler get along.

Truffle looks like my Albert in that second photo. They have very similar colouring. I'm sorry that she and Pudding aren't getting along at the moment.

momo! <3 missed seeing you here my big sis xxx
yeah truffle is a little lady with character alright!

Some good news too: Nibbler's pain meds are sufficient now and she no longer chews her fur off and Chubbles' hormone injections have promising effects as her nipples have shrunk since tuesday! yaaay.

She ADORES lap time <3 My heart is official hook, line and sinker.

Chubbles however, despite reacting well to her hormone injections, has now started crying whilst urinating. I've done a dipstick test and it indicates pos kidney failure. I'm just waiting for my vet to come back to me.. :( poor wee lamb.

Good news!!

*smug mode*
Today I gave all 4 girls a buddy bath. Bonding in fear as I like to call it. As soon as I filled up the bath with water (not high, about an inch) the whole dynamics changed and true attitudes and places in hierarchy were revealed. Nibbler is definitely bottom, being the most submissive. Pudding is without a doubt Top. Chubbles may be above Truffle, but only time can tell.
Pudding used both Chubbles and Truffle as a way to escape the water, but mostly Truffle.
Image
After being washed with Gorgeous Guineas shampoo and blow dried I put all four in their new freshly cleaned cage (with pirate fleece - ee!). You could clearly tell that Truffle was not challenging Pudding any more.
There's been a few scuffles, a few nose offs and chases, but all in all I think we can now safely say Truffle has been successfully integrated into the group
It's been relatively peaceful since 2pm! and we did make another level for Nibbler to escape to as they do pick on her still (always have).

Oh, the wet pigs photo is adorable! Despite one guinea pig's obvious disagreement.
