OMG. Bear looks like 3 concentric circles when viewed from head-on!! I love the pictures of her looking out the window. Better not tell Fairy about this. Don't want her to get jealous.

Yes, Lynx, need link for calendar!

Oh LOLOL! Yes, she IS a concentric circle dollop! I was so tempted to add something to do with the 'Do Not Bend' bit on the envelope (as in: Oh you are safe, bear, you don't need to do any bending . . . ) but it felt so rude!!

Thanks again, Lynx!

Hey, I got a bunch of calendars printed and the order form up too! This was just what I needed to get going (I actually had pretty much the whole calendar done a couple months ago - just had to "accept" that it was done and print it).

I'm still giggling at Bear and her concentric circles. She's definitely an ample pig.

Busy with weekend jobs in The Piggery! 42 toe nails trimmed, 3 underneaths washes done and 4 teeth trimmed!

What's that? I am underweight by 2 grams?

Quick, daddy, better feed me up!

Good to see little Fairy again! Thought I was the only one that did the underneath washes or bum dunks as I sometimes call them. x

Fairy is such a doll. Of course all of your guinea kiddos are just beautiful, Mildred. I hope she puts weight back on for you guys soon.

She's eating something she is NOT meant to have - Cavalero Nero, sort of black cabbage leaves. It makes her poops soft! Pixie and Bear love it though!

I thought she was nibbling on the rubbery underside of a fleece as that's what it looked like! Thought that was a bit strange. Shame when you love something to eat that much and it doesn't agree with you. x

Here in the US that veg is called dinosaur or lacinato kale. My piggies (and I) adore it.

From the color/texture alone, it looks like a) I would hate it, b) Ouiser would adore it, and c) it's super high in calcium. Mmmm calcium.

I think most guineas love it! I just don't love Fairy's poop-slippers when she's finished marching around in her soft poops! She can't have kale or anything cabbage-ey. She's good with her romain lettuce, tomatoes, cucumber, corn cob, radicchio lettuce, and another lettuce that is sort of frilly, carrot sticks, beet sticks, parsley, coriander, and grass, lots of grass! Everything is served in the correct quantities!

Just curious Mildred. Fairy is just a few months older than my two. I've noticed a subtle change in my guys lately. Nothing bad, just a settling down, slowing down - hard to say. Maybe it's a maturing.

Have you noticed any particular changes as Fairy gets older. It's hard to believe these guys are as old as they are. Dak and Dash will be turning 4 in January.

Fairy will be 4 and a half on December 11th, Jacqueline, and although I can't say her character has changed much - she is still a piggy who knows what she wants and exactly what to do to get it!, she is maybe a little less muscular, I can feel her bones around her back, if you know what I mean. She is as writer as she has ever been though! I love the way she is so confident now, she really is just like a regular piggy with the advantage that she sleeps very soundly because nothing disturbs her! She has a distinct routine and makes it plain how annoyed she is if any small part of that routine alters!

In age I see her as a 40 year old, or at least how I myself felt at 40! I could quite imagine her wanting to try hang gliding or parachuting! In fact she has a little something up her paw-sleeve, we will have to wait for some good weather though before we can share that :)

I think your handsome boys are settling down, contented and confident, no bad thing really!
