I don't know how to start this new thread . . . except it is 35 weeks ago today when we said goodbye to our dear, sweet, much loved little Fairy.

For everyone who has lost their much loved guinea, let's take a moment to remember the joy they brought us. They are ALL so, so special.

If you are new here and want to catch up with Fairy and her pals you can nip back to her previous thread back here.

As promised, here are some photos taken today. The five pirate-pigs enjoying their freshly picked grass this afternoon!

Hello! It's our afternoon grass-snack-time - bring it on, Mum!

What . . where . . .

Oh my, it's up here - that's no good!

Oh, it's all right for YOU, Pixie, your SO long and stretchy!

Phew! That's much better, come on girls, lets MUNCH!

Pity you can't all pop round and join us!

It is so comforting to see her little face. Fairy was a grand lady.

Thanks :)

Please say 'hello' to Kat, Lynx! Thinking about my shoulder pain earlier made me remember the last time, when I ended up having surgery - it was immediately after her visit!

Thanks again!

That is a lovely picture of Fairy. I think it captures her spirit perfectly. Thanks for the pirate-pig updates. I'm glad you put some grass down for them, as I could see they were a little miffed at having to work so so hard to reach it!

Will do! It will have to be by email though as she's in NYC and looks like she may have just got a job there too!

Mildred - Fairy will always be in my heart. It makes me smile to see even Fairy's picture in my vet's clinic as well (the picture was coming from a card I auctioned in 2010).

Regarding your shoulder I can relate very well. Broke my left shoulder last week and I'm writing this single-handed and still in considerable pain.

Can I move in for some weeks with the girls?
