The time feels right, at last, to start a new Chronicle for all our piggy family - all SIX of them!

For young Bertie Christmas has come early - in the shape of this little fuzz-pig-ball!

Meet Betty!

Here is Bertie contemplating life and the bewildering, complex thing it is, living with five girls of assorted weights (large, extra large and Pansy)!

Especially where they can be so flipping pushy!

And they just seem to be everywhere at once!

Unless they are perched on the shelf being book-ends! That will be Posy and Poppy, or it could be Poppy and Posy . . . I am not sure.

Or holding tight to the book-pile with your not inconsiderable weight, Pansy.

And finally, meet Flo. Pin up to the stars! And here she is alongside the award winning, world famous Guinea Lynx 2016 Calendar!

ZOMG BETTY! What a sweet dear darling! Bertie is living the "life" - just what sort of life with the Pirate Pigs and Her Highness and Her Heaviness who can say? :-D

How wonderful to read the latest thread and meet Betty. She's an adorable ball of fluff, not that the rest of the herd is anything but gorgeous. Great to see everyone again but we need more photos and details on Betty.

AldenM1, you asked why she was for Bertie . . . He made it quite clear he needed a little sister to take care of, and seeing as they are the same colours but one is smooth and one is fuzz, it worked out just right! And having said tha, her Great Aunt Flo is also very protective and caring with her, and Auntie Pansy has proved herself in the comfiness quotient by becoming Betty's favourite cushion!

She IS like a little floaty cloud, clairey, and definitely has some unraveling happening!

I will take more photos and post soon :)

We would usually find home made soup, porridge or something tasty in our breakfast bows - and Betty is equally delicious!

Wait do all orange guinea pigs have red eyes or is it just red eye on Betty from the camera? Bella is orange and white with red eyes and I'm wondering if that's the usual eye color...
