So maybe he's smarter than you think?

Perhaps. Or perhaps he's just like Max who bashed his way through life (and that's how he broke his playpen and got stuck under the fridge).

Spirit...yeah, that's what they have...spirit.

Did I mention that Gus sleeps on top of the big pigloo and to save Neal from being peed on I put a blanket up there?

Did I also mention that even with this adaptation, Neal still doesn't wash properly and needs a bath?

I guess I'm lucky. If my upstairs neighbours pee on the floor it doesn't drip thru my ceiling.

We have the exact same set-up here too!
Mojo love to rain on Mitzy, trying to get back at her barbering! :)

That's too funny! I thought I had the only stupid pigs that did that!

The look on her face is priceless.

Hey! These are smart piggies, they know how to work the forces of nature and get back at their roomies! :)

I think Gus and Mojo would be best of buddies! :p

That is so funny, Momo.

I have this vision of Neal just lying there and being peed on. Eeeew.

So the two "big-boned" guys are rooming together?

Gus, Red and Neal live in one pen and Gopher in the other. Typically, Gus will be ON the pigloo, Neal inside it and Red either sleeps in the other pigloo or on whatever fluffy thing is in there at the time.

Gus would probably get along with Mojo. He's a good pig. He just wants food and he's happy.

Happy 3rd Birthday to Gustov, Manfred von Richthofen (Red) and Gopher! Sorry I'm a few days late. It's been a busy week!

I can't believe they're 3!

Guess what Gopher got for his birthday? A lump on his leg! I'm just thrilled, can't you tell?

It's like the other lump, so I'm not getting it removed just yet, but I will probably not let it grow to the same point I let the other one grow. Just keeping an eye on it. It's not hindering him any right now.

They are also getting a new pen. I'm changing things up to put them in a new "pig room" so their room can be for Thing, Elmyra can get Thing's room and the baby can get Elmyra's room. Got new corroplast yesterday.

Neal would like it if I could keep Gus from peeing on his head, but I tell him he needs to sort the sleeping arrangements out himself.

Happy birthday, little savages. Here is a congratulatory video (CAUTION, 4-LETTER WORD NEAR THE END) http://youtube.com/watch?v=Tz2o0OYjVzU

Sorry about the lump. How clean does Neal look? How does he smell?

Neal smells moderately better lately, but his cleanliness is still suspect.

Thanks for the video. Must share!

It must be interesting to have three brothers who share so much genetic material yet can be so different.

Are you allowed to lift Neal or Gus?

I can carry them around. They are much calmer than the other two. Neal pretends to hate lap time but he is fine once he's on your lap. Gus, too. He'll fall asleep. It's funny to watch him shift to get more comfortable. He's totally into comfort (although, why he lays on the pigloo, I don't know. Maybe he's also totally into revenge.)

So Mr. was helping his poor wife out last night cleaning out the pens.

I scooped, he poured in new litter and filled the water bottles.

It was cute to wach him measure out exactly what I told him to put in the pens (he takes instructions like that seriously), arrange the pigloos and talk to the pigs. When I told him to be careful because Gus would eat the plastic bag, Mr. talked to Gus about how he shouldn't do that. Not that Gus really paid any attention. Mr. also talked to Neal about how he shouldn't run away. "You big fool. I just touched you." At one point, Red and Neal wher both in the big pigloo, looking out. Occasionally Neal would look over and be like, "Oh, you're still here...fine, whatever."

I consider it training for when I have Junior in hand and need someone else to do the pens.
