I'd like him to take it seriously and I'd like there to be a firm trouncing at the polls. I fear that if he doesn't fare well he will be turned into a martyr.

So far, Kellyanne Conway has also tested positive, along with RNC Committee Chair Ronna McDaniels, Senators Thom Tillis (N.C.) and Mike Lee (Utah), Notre Dame President John I. Jenkins, and several WH reporters. I'm still worried about Joe Biden.

None of Trump's family wore masks or **got tested before the debate**, per Chris Wallace. They were also late, possibly too late to get tested. Did they already know some were getting sick? I worry about Biden. He won't be out of the woods until around Monday.

Agree, the martyr thing could be a problem.

In fact I'm seeing the exact opposite.... “The president’s vitals over the last 24 hours were very concerning and the next 48 hours will be critical in terms of his care. We’re still not on a clear path to a full recovery.”

Meadows painted a somewhat more dire picture of trump's health, but who the hell knows what the truth is at this point. Mr. Sef still maintains that trump was never sick to begin with, and that this was all just a political stunt.

trump Tweeted a video a short time ago. He looks fine and is touting what a "miracle" these drugs have been. Hallelujah, God be praised! Incidentally, trump held stock in Gilead Sciences (maker of Remdesivir) a few years ago and maybe still does. Probably just a coincidence...

Unless he gets really, really sick, he looks like he is going to "enjoy" this. He craves all that attention and the good wishes. Bet he wishes he'd played sick earlier.

What medical team, legitimate or not, could keep him from doing it if he decided he wanted to? A medical team has no authority to keep him from it.

True. An attending physician at Walter Reed who is not on the case spoke out:

"Every single person in the vehicle during that completely unnecessary Presidential 'drive-by' just now has to be quarantined for 14 days. They might get sick. They may die. For political theater. Commanded by Trump to put their lives at risk for theater. This is insanity,” Dr. James Phillips tweeted.

"That Presidential SUV is not only bulletproof, but hermetically sealed against chemical attack. The risk of COVID19 transmission inside is as high as it gets outside of medical procedures. The irresponsibility is astounding. My thoughts are with the Secret Service forced to play."

Astounding and yet, sadly, not too surprising considering who trump is.

Just when you think this whole thing can't possibly get any more horrible...trump leaves the hospital this evening (while still supposedly infected with Covid-19) and poses on the balcony at the WH. In a moment that I can only describe as saying "Eff you" to the more than 200,000 Americans dead from the virus, this son of a bitch takes off his mask:

He is a monster.
