Ah Jeff. You know how badly I feel about this. I want you to know that I´m so glad Odie had you till the end. I HATE this, I really do. I´m just incredibly sorry.....

Oh, Jeff. I´m so sorry. That´s how my Cookie died, too. How sad you must be.

Odie had such a good dad. Take comfort in knowing how well you cared for him.

I´m so sorry. It´s never easy, especially when you´re doing the right thing by them and the surgery doesn´t find good news.

I did wonder about the urethra? It seems as if you´re describing the ureter (the tube from the kidney to the bladder). The urethra goes from the bladder to the rest of the world. Unfortunately ureter stones always have poor prognoses, so it sounds as if you´ve done the right (although hard) thing.

I´m so sorry, Jeff. I know how much you loved him and what a great home you gave him. It was so generous of you to take in an old-timer. You gave him a perfect life while you had him. I hope when you are ready, another pig can find a home with you.

I´m sorry too, Jeff. I´ve been reading this thread right along. It has been a long road for the two of you and Odie was lucky to have you by his side.
