It's just so quiet in there now. Like the room is empty, even with five other pigs in there. I keep waiting for him to come out for breakfast and join Jules in begging. Jules continues to beg on the left, even though there's plenty of room. The right was Steve's spot.

I am somewhat comforted that the vet fit us in Monday. I sent a thank you to him and the staff because they really did a lot for Steve. I think it's important to let people know when you think they've done a good job.

I agree with you there. I think letting them know is important.

Such sad times. I feel so badly for all of you -- and for me (Snowflake) -- who have lost beloved guinea pigs.

Even with 16, 18, 20 pigs, when one goes, it feels empty. I've noticed our pigs are very subdued after a loss which adds to the emptiness.
