Do guinea pigs have a "third eye lid", I think that's what's it's called. Like on rabbits? Fifi, new rescue, has swollen tissue under both eyes.

Is it pea eye (also called fatty eye)?

Here's one of Pinta's pigs:

I'm working on an eye page but it will still take a while.

That was Zag. Her Pea Eye completely disappeared when Zag went on Lasix for a heart condition.

Yep. No third eyelid (nicitating membrane). Pea eye is essentially conjuntival sac that protrudes (many theories). It is a trait genetically passed on and expressed in affected pigs. It can also be treated surgically if it gets to be a problem. Usually, it's not a huge deal for the pig.
