Ok, She had normal poop last night and at 6am today. Gave her her albon and now at 10am it is soft again...

Is this normal? What should I do? I am waiting for a fresh poo from Cass to giver her right now.

She has had only oxbow pellets and hay from the bunny bunch (good stuff)

Slightly soft is okay. There may be slight variation.

This does sound like a discussion among a bunch of moms with infants.

We are back to mushy poo...any suggestions? She has been on albon since Monday.
She seemed a bit gassy so I gave simethicone and a tummy massage at 2am. I am losing sleep and going nuts...help!

now she is reaching down and eating poop from herself...should I discourage this since she has soft poops? Maybe she keeps reinfecting herself? Or is she perhaps getting the better poop and I only see the bad ones?

I want to cry...

I think you're supposed to hear sounds. It's when they're quiet, that nothing is happening in there, and that is not good. I'm just a piggy mum with a soft poo pig, too, learning as I go along.

Our vet said you should hear gut sounds. That's healthy.

When Georgia was having her issues, I could hear gas sounds too, it was strange, but the vet said that as long as things are moving through, you're okay.

I didn't see Georgia eat her droppings for a while, but then she started to again after I gave her the poop soup doses, so I assumed that seeing that means she's getting better!
