Just having some input is help, Julian. I really have no idea. She just ate half a leaf of Chard then lay down and is whimpering. She doesn't like for me to touch her sides or stomach. This is a stoic pig. I think she is in some pain. I will wait another half hour.

Good news. If she is peeing, push those fluids.

I remember when my MIL was in kidney and liver failure in CCU and she peed. My husband and I danced for joy down the hall. I'd imagine you are doing the same.

Okay, it apears safe to go to bed tonight. Rest well, little Meg. You get some rest too Chary.

I wonder if she had a stone get stuck, then it came back out.

I made an appointment for the vet to remove the stones and the piece of the ovary on Tuesday. Will he know to flush out the kidney or is that something I need to remind him to do?

Besides daily SQs, is there anything else I can do for her?

Meg came through her surgery o.k. The vet removed 2 medium and 2 small bladder stones and removed also that piece of ovary. I can pick her up in a few hours.

Good luck to Meg. If any pig deserves a break, it is her.

She is a tough old girl. She looks good. Started eating pellets the minute I put her back in the cage.
