Thanks all!
I had a little peek underneath this morning and you can hardly see where he's been cut. He's got internal stitches so fingers crossed all is healing well.
He's pooping and peeing well still, but he's not so interested in his veg though. I've found my probiotic so I'm starting him on that today. I'll ring the vet to find out how much he weighed when he went in and will start to weigh him from today. He was 1400g last time I weighed him
He seems bright enough, he's spending a lot of time lounging on the Vet Bed under his stool, but he does come out for a wander around.
He feels fit enough to do his waggle dance for Toki along the edge of his cage! I'm hoping they mix together again when he's fit.
I really hope he doesn't get any more stones. I'm going to spend quite a bit of time in researching what he can eat, and what he shouldn't anymore. He's around 5 years old now, so hopefully I can keep him stone free,

All seems to be going well. He's back living with Toki. After a brief chattering, and crab walking session by Toki, Anselmo gave him a good nip and all is back to normal.
He's still crying a little when he poops. I've checked his bottom and it still has a bit of white paste in there so I'm cleaning it out each day. He's still on his Metacam.
His penis is completely clean still which is fantastic.
He's back to eating his vegetables, I'm making sure to give him a few syringes of water after his Baytril to get the taste out of his mouth and then he eats fine.
The cut on his tummy is healing well.
He had a check up on Thursday and the vet was happy with the cut. He also had a quick check in the lab to see if there were any results on the sample taken. There wasn't anything noticeable growing so fingers crossed. The vet will keep checking for a couple more weeks and will let me know if something appears.
Now we just need the No Stones fairy to appear and make sure nothing comes back. I really don't want him to have to go through the surgery again, he's getting a bit old for that now.

Oh Jaycey, we're thinking of Anselmo. We're battling calcium too. Snowy's been on a strict diet and meds cycle since her stone was removed, and visible calcium deposits have fallen dramatically in a week. This is what we're doing at the moment.

Wow, even I know that's not right!
I've managed to find the Potassium Citrate online, It's 100mg but I'll be able to water it down.
Fingers crossed that it helps when it arrives, poor little guy is still crying when pooping.
I've started him back on the Cystease too. I know the vet said that it's unlikely to have an effect, but it's worth a try, and Anselmo enjoys taking it, which helps to get rid of the taste of Baytril for him.

Anselmo was back to the vet yesterday as we ran out of Metacam and Baytril on Saturday and he's still squeaking.
The guinea pig vet has gone on holiday for a week so we we saw the not so guinea savvy one.
He had a good look at him and gave us three options:
1) X-ray him again - He said that it would be highly unlikely that a stone would appear so quickly and he would prefer the guinea pig vet to do it if we chose this option
2) Give him more of the same medicine - It would be unlikely to help as 'Moo has been squeaking on the medicine anyway
3) Just leave him be for a week or two to see what happens.
Anselmo is bright, active and eating lots so the squeaks when he poops doesn't seem to bother him. So, we've decided to leave him be for a little while and monitor him (He's squeaked on and off for the whole 3 years I've had him). The guinea pig vet will give us a ring next week if he thinks we should try something else.
I mentioned the Potassium to him (it came in the post today) and he said that he wouldn't try it yet, and he'd mention it to the guinea pig vet to call me about it to decide whether to give it a try or not. I think I'll try it anyway.

We ran out of Baytril on Saturday too Lynx.
Yes, he's been doing fine. I've noticed that most of my pigs go off their food on it, but I find it's because of the taste lingering in their mouth. All of their veg/hay taste of it so they don't eat when they're on it. But, I give them a syringe or two full of water to wash away the taste and then they eat without a problem. He's been eating like a trooper and has only lost 70g since the surgery, and that was during the few days they kept him in when he wouldn't eat/poop.
He was originally given it after his bladder stone surgery just in case he had an infection. The urine sample taken at the time of his surgery came back negative, so he doesn't have an infection (or one the vets can see from the sample).
I just continued it on until we ran out of the bit we had been given just to make sure he was okay.
Neither the Baytril or Metacam has been doing anything to ease his squeaking.
