Best to him for a speedy recovery!!

If he came out of the anaesthesia slowly -- and especially at his age -- consider the possibility of having him checked for heart compromise. He might benefit from benazepril.

He looks great! Thanks for sharing his pic here! It seems (in my experience, anyway) that the light-colored Skinnies do heal fast and don't scar as easily as their darker skinned counterparts. Glad to hear that he is back to normal. Hope he has many lump-free years ahead of him!

Yes indeed! I am so shocked how fast it healed up, was so intimidating when he first had it done.

He's healing up so fast and well, that in another week you won't even be able to tell this happened!

Calvin has been with me since he was 6 months old, we are approaching 7 and sadly my dear senior is showing his age greatly. We were just at the vets today and he has an enlarged heart and is littered with arthritis and calcification. He is going to be getting more pain meds and heart medication to keep him as comfortable as possible for as long as possible. If he starts to having breathing issues or his pain can not be managed, I will have to let me baby go. He is the last of my original 6 skinny pigs. Where does time go?
