The vet called and the histology is back on the cyst. She rattled off some technical terms but the main thing is, the cyst was benign and so removal should have taken care of it.

Yeah!

Norbie seems fine today. She seems to be fluctuating with her weight but she is going up and down. Today I was home so I was able to give her treats throughout the day and she is back up. (yesterday we had family here and while I checked on her, I didn't give her treats every couple hours like today. I guess the trick is to spoil her. I also added 3rd cut timothy hay to the cage. The girls have a whole rack of Bluegrass but they all love the timothy more. Almost every time I went into the piggie room today, Norbie was eating someting.

I did notice that her incision looks dry and it looks like the scab wants to come off in places. THe vet told me to let it come off on its own so I am just leaving it alone.

Norbie enjoys her special treatment. :)

Lots of 3rd cut timothy hay has definitely raised Sakura's spirits too!
