Dex?

Dexamethasone is used for shock according to Carpenter's Formulary.

4-5mg/kg SC, IM, IP, IV
-------------------------------------------
Just noticed there are two entries for dexamethasone. The one above is for shock. The one below is listed as an anti-inflamatory:

0.5-2.0mg/kg PO, SC, then decreasing dose q12h X3-14 days

Also listed:
0.6mg/kg IM

Just talked to Chary. She has 2mg/ml. I told her to give 1.5ml to the pig.

Holy crap- is that a bird cage? Those poor pigs. Don't tell me that poor Chary has even more pigs to take care of, when she said before the breeder dump that she was full?

I wish I could help.

Ick, that pig in the front looks to have open sores on the side of his/her neck - ouch!

Where did these two come from?

Oh no, this looks terrible. The pig in the back looks all hunched up, like Maggie May did. And the one in front--is that a raw patch with bleeding on its right front side?
