She was impressed at how well-endowed both of the boys were.

I know Jackie is a porn star, but I don't want to hear about boar glue on Einey. How was Crazy Cuddles?

Einy got another tooth trim. He didn't even screech as much this time. His right eye was significantly crustier than his left (a little bit of crustiness seems normal for both of his eyes) so he has a teeny tiny tube of triple antibiotic ophthalmic ointment. What's the best way to apply it? I won't have the problem of him seeing me coming with it, but I don't want to hurt his useless little eyes.

I have been giving him the Metacam and vitamin C every day. He has grown accustomed to the smell/taste of the metacam, because he always gets his tasty C treat right afterwards.

Salana, Einy is quite the celebrity in Michigan. I sent out all of the cards that you sent me to my friends and relatives and I'm still getting phone calls asking about the wonder pig.

Salana -
I've had a bit too much experience with the teeny tiny tube of triple ab ointment. It's an acquired skill, but much easier with a piggie who can't see.

I hold the piggie against myself or secured on a table, put my hands around pigz head so that I have my forefinger above and middle finger below the eye, so that the pig can't move and poke him/herself. Also, it helps you to control their blinking reflex.

I have the tube ready and waiting, and squeeze out about 1/4 inch "log" (or line) of the goo horizontally on the eyeball. Before they escape from your lock-hold, I try to move the log of goo around the eye surface to get good coverage by moving my hand gently to ensure the sides of the eye conjunctiva have been coated in the ointment. If you do the spreading slowly enough, they usually think it's a massage and don't completely freak out (except for Prin, who has left me with scars to this day).

I wish you the best!

Oh, so that's what they mean by printing a dose of 1/8" to 1/4".

Yep -
My experience is that I just smear on whatever amount ends up sticking. I'm usually wearing the rest.

Sometimes it goes well, and we have a nice clean dash of ointment. Other times, I just squeeze to beat the band, and whatever survives the tirade is the dose given.

I'm not sure that it would be easy to overdose this med - it seems that coverage is the primary design. Any excess should be wiped off, just so nobody licks it off for a jello dessert. (Yech.)
