I hope you find out what the problem is with Coco, perhaps next vet visit take both piggies in so both can be checked over and their sex compared with eachother. Keep us posted as it sounds strange to me. To lose bloody tissue is a lot for a piggy, try and keep her warm, give fluids, if concerned take to the vet ASAP.
What antibiotic was given? Was it one of the safe ones?
Just got back from the vet, confirmed the other piggy is female. Checked over Coco and the vet was happy with her progress her 'girly parts' look normal again, urine normal, no more bleeding or hardening of the uterine lining. Only concern is her eating at the moment vet has taken her off Baytril and put her on Bactrim for the next 10 days, not in the clear yet but if all goes well she should be back to normal. HUGE relief I really thought she was going to operate after seeing the other female. Vet has 40 years of experience with guinea piggies and hadn't seen a case like Coco's. I guess she is one of a kind LOL.
THANK YOU for all your help and well wishes it is most appreciated. xxxx
