I have a 5 month old boys he is a rescue with 2 brothers unfortunately we lost one the other is gaining weight and happy but Peanut isn’t gaining weight. We took him out I the vet who couldn’t see anything wrong. He is eating his pellets, hay and fresh vegetables but isn’t gaining wright.

This is the first time in 10 years of caring for Guineas that I have come across this can anyone suggest anything I can do to help him gain weight.

Thanks in Advance

I take it you have observed him carefully to make sure he has full access to food and there is no food guarding going on with the other guinea pig? Is he particularly energetic? Have you looked at his teeth? Is he fearful or picked on by his brother? How large is the cage?

More than one place with hay and using two bowls each of pellets and fresh food can help. Two water bottles too.
