Lump on Back
Hi guys,
Tonight I noticed a dime sized lump on penny’s back. It’s a little hard, definitely not soft and doesn’t seem to bother her. She’s eating and drinking as normal.
It’s located closer to her bum and it’s black. I’m wondering if it could be a sebaceous cyst. If wasn’t there a few days ago... just feels like a little growth
I do have a picture of it but I don’t know how to post it...
I will make a vets appointment but I’m just wondering if you have any thoughts on this.

If it is a clear, crisp, photo, you can send it to me to post:
Have you read www.guinealynx.info/lumps.html ?

I went ahead and sent you two pictures, I hope they are good enough!
I did look over the info on lumps, I just can’t really pin point which one of those it could be.
I’m just worried because it popped up out of nowhere! unless it was there for awhile but maybe smaller and I just now noticed it.

I encourage you to use a warm, wet, compress on it for a while to see if the top softens and comes off. Possible it is more wart like but expect it may be a plugged sebaceous cyst with keratinous material beneath. Here are your pictures:
Pick gently at the edges to see if it is a "cap" vs. being attached. More warm wet compresses if it does not come off easily.
