Different Breeds of Guinea Pigs (A Breeders view)
Jo - Betty Boop is actually a TSW, she's got a big blotch of black on her other rump. Here's a pic.

Another interesting fact... Kramer was from a pet store. Both his parents were Smooth Shorthaired Americans. His brother and sisters were all smooth haired. I think they were trying to breed Dutch colored pigs because they were all like that.
CocoBean is a tortoiseshell.

That's no problem, Josephine. You can use any o my pics on whatever page you want.
I do remember reading on a pro-breeding forum that ridgebacks are really just bad abbys, but I'm not sure of that.

Here's a mockup of the pics you have suggested. I cropped them to a max size of 540 pixels wide (some were too small to resize larger). If it gets too picture heavy, some of the pics will turn into links so it is not a bear to load.

Wow, Lynx, that's nice. I would break up the descriptions some into complete sentences or phrases. I guess I didn't think that the descriptions I added would be permanent captions.
Tammy's Betty should be a Tortoiseshell and White, not a Broken as I thought from that original pic.
I think I decided Heddwyn was Cream? I guess I'd better round up some other color people.

I appreciate it. As long as you'll put up with my editing ;)
I've got to get up early tomorrow for work and need my beauty sleep. I may not get back to the board until tomorrow night--depends on how my day goes. The day after a holiday with the part-time vet can definitely be asking for trouble!
