Rshevin-
It's not a third color. it's a faded ring around the eye. It's considered a fault in show pigs. It's really just faded lilac hair. Normal and very common.

My Fonzie was a gorgeous little boy. He was mostly white and chocolate with a tiny dot of orange on his face. That means his eyes were ruby then?

I often wondered about his eyes. They seemed to change colors at times in different light. He mostly looked like he had a lighter brown eye color but at other times it looked as if there was a deeper red to them. (unlike Joey and Cocoa who always look like they have pink/red eyes)

Fonzie sounds liek he had ruby eyes.

There are three eye colors in pigs.
1- dark: brown, grey, etc.
2- pink: bright pink to bright red
3- ruby: dark eyes that turn a deep reddish tint in the light.

Blue gets lumped in with dark. Notice the ETC, above.

Could not remember what links I have given you so here are a few of Sidney and Sherman for tri-colored piggies...

Sherman...

Dudley was not sure if he could be used for anything...?

Here is another real good one of the "blocks" of tri-coloring. It is not a neutral background, but if you want I would be happy to retake his picture...

Is that what you were meaning about white with tri-coloring..?

And this is Belle. She has ruby eyes if you are needing me to retake (they look a bit darker in this picture with the bright lighting).

I think I already sent you some of Peabody (lilac and white). I also have two new himi colored girls if you need them. They are both smooth haired coats. They do not have the dark feet though if you are wanting that. Just the nose and ears :)

One more you maybe interested in---can try to retake if you do not like the grass...

Ahh, great pics!

I have been busy lately. Hopefully, this week I'll have some time sometime to organize all the new pics again.

Here is a picture or Jules, who is a roan sheltie (or silkie). You can use him if you desire, for the coat and breed page.

I'm not sure if you have an abby DEW or not. This is my Mama who has since crossed over. Her eye is red from the flash but she had dark eyes. Feel free to use her. I wish I had a better picture.

Unfortunately, she looks like she's a wannabe Himi.

Recently I discovered that mix between Peruvian and Abyssinian in Europe are called "Angora" and not Sheba mini yak as I thought before.

I carries on thinking that Abby is not a pure peruvian, anyway also Giorgina has a strange look that make me think of another mix!:-)

Here there are some pics of her.

Let me know your opinion.

She isn't 6 months old yet and She weighs more than 900 grams!

I should call her "Giorgiona" Big Giorgia, and not "Giorgina", little Giorgia!:-)

Another update in the Reference Thread. I'm going to have to organize it more later. Sill lacking in some varieties. Could definitely use patching pics (checkerboard pics), I need a good example or two of different Dutch pigs, I have not a single Dalmation pic, etc. Still no Brindle, either. Not a single Tan. Could use a few more Himi pics, I think.

Josephine---I have a little himi with good markings on the nose and ears. She is a "mutt" though, and therefore she only has one silver foot. Do you want some pictures of her?

Someone around GL has 2 twin dutch pigs but I can't remember who it was for the life of me! I'll see what search turns up.
