My daughter and I call the guinea pigs´ need to run EVEN when you are trying to bribe them with a treat "The Code of the Cavies". You see, guinea pigs are actually organized and bound by that code to run or, at least, be uncooperative when you try to pick them up.

I think there are severe penalties for gps that violate this code, so be careful about posting their names...

Whoops, I´d better let Alfie know. Whenever I go to get her, she stops where she is and sits quietly as I pick her up out of the cage. I don´t think she realised she was a traitor to the Code...

My favorite is when both of my girls are together and inevitably end up facing two different directions. Very clever, I think, watching out for each other.

They also know "the Code" and add the "Help! She´s killing me!" squeal when finally captured.
