Our almost 4 month old guinea pig (got her three weeks ago) is so funny. Tonight we had her out and she literally follows me all around the downstairs like a puppy dog. It's very adorable to watch. Do they do this out of love? Or is it fear of being in that area of the house alone? Little of both :D? It's very charming though.

It depends on the pig, I think. I used to have one that would come and check where I was every 15-20 minutes when it was out for floor time.

Haha. Is this just young piggy behavior? Or just Lily? :D

Piggies are very social animals, they don't like being alone. If they feel confident enough in an open space, they can follow people like they would other pigs.

Sounds like your guinea pig would appreciate a companion!
