1000 Animals Rescued

In eastern Iowa there was a large scale animal rescue operation on Tuesday. There are some really horrible images circulating from within the house. One of the images is a dead bunny and two dead guinea pigs. Not sure if anyone else has already shared this, but wanted to make everyone aware.

Yeah, it's going to be bad. They're already over 1000, I can't imagine what that number is going to become. They have guinea pigs, rabbits, gerbils, mice, hedgehogs, etc. I live about 90 minutes away, so I'm hoping to get out there to donate some stuff next week. The biggest problem is that we don't have as good of networks here in Iowa as they do in other areas. We don't really have small animal specific rescues.

Yeah, I just looked at their Facebook page of the Cedar Valley Humane Society, and they're looking for milk for the baby guinea pigs. People have linked to this site, but not sure if they'll actually listen.
