Single Guinea Pig
One of my guinea pigs (Toby) passed recently from a genetic defect likely brought on by inbreeding in a big chain pet store. My other male (Marvin) hasn't taken much notice to Toby''s absence, mainly because Toby was only around for 3 weeks. Do you reckon Marvin would be okay to live alone for the next few months while I gather enough money for another boar and vet expenses? Thanks

Give him lots of attention, watch his weight, and have a big cage with interesting things in it to entertain him and let him run around. If you notice any signs of illness or loss of weight, have him checked out.
