Hi guys,

In my quest to better entertain my pigs, I've found that they both go hog wild for crumpled up paper balls. I read that a lot of people entertain their pigs with these with food hidden inside so I thought I'd give it a go. They both LOVE tossing them around and chewing on them. I just wanted to check to make sure that it is safe for them to chew on paper? I used just plain computer paper, so I figured it would be ok.

Going to definitely try using some cut paper towel tubes too at some point, as you all kindly recommended them to me! :)

When I fostered piggies, I used to always give them paper balls, and they all loved it! I also assumed it was safe for them, they had it pretty regularly with no problems. I'm pretty sure it's safe but someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Another thing we gave them was the brown packing paper that always came with our online care fresh orders. They LOVE it; they chew it, eat it, hide in it, and play with it.
