Th Pumpkin Pie Gang
Linus and Charlie from the Ojai group have been adopted !!
They were adopted by a young couple who saw their picture on the website and came to meet them.
Linus and Charlie snuggled with them and stole their hearts. ( The couple had thought they would meet a few of the pairs and then decide, but after meeting Linus and Charlie, they didn't even look at another pair- they weren't even tempted by the baby boars!)

What wonderful news! I hope their new family does come join GL so we can keep track of the boys.
Earlier this week, the Pumpkin Pie Gang finished their evening greens before the boys from Ojai did.
Outraged to hear the sounds of crunching from down the hallway, Sugar set up an impassioned wheeking.
Spice and Tweak joined in and when I came in to see what the commotion was about, they tried to persuade me that they hadn't been fed yet.
Tweak- " We're starving here!"
Spice- " Don't you love us anymore?"
Sugar tried to add in her bit, but was betrayed by her green beard-
"Can't you see how hungry we are?"
I've been playing with the settings on my camera, trying to avoid the possessed piggie red eye.
The normal setting loooks like this:
An alternate setting loses the red eye but comes out blurred, like so:
Turning off the flash loses most of the red eye, but tends to look very dark:
Of course, you can always play with lighting effects in photoshop:
Bottom line- Blurred, possessed, dark or filtered, Sugar is always very sweet!

Well, it's summer and siesta season is in full force.
Spice- showing his ability to sleep anywhere.
Tweak- showing his versatility in the "customize your bed" category.
On the fashion front, the legless look is definitely in this summer.
Sugar- demonstrating the Veronica Lake version.
Tweak- showing it's a look that even the older generation can carry off.
Spice, not quite mastering the latest trend.
I think Sugar has been coaching him- the new improved version- demonstrating complete mastery of the trend. ( Note the look of nonchalance).

Well, I decided that the Pumpkin Pie Gang needed a new group photo, so we did a little photo shoot this afternoon.
First I tried shortest in the middle, like so.
Tweak and Spice were fine with this arrangement, but Sugar started to look wistful.
Apparently, she thought that she should have center stage.
Here's that really bad shot that always happens when you're photographing a group.
And- the good version.
Snacks were served, to offset the boredom of posing.
"Is he still crunching?"
"Hey!"
