A Wink and a Wheek
Ha ha! Spider Pig definitely has limited tolerance of his garb. :) I'm not even sure if Spider Pig can fit into his tights anymore because of all the peppers and lettuce he's been eating the past few months...
I found the Spider Pig costume on eBay, believe it or not. I was searching for costume ideas for myself and saw costumes for dogs and cats and it got me thinking...and a search turned up CuddlyCavies (http://www.cuddlycavies.homestead.com/costumes.html). The woman makes them herself, and also has a variety of other costumes and "clothing" available. We attended a Halloween party this past weekend amongst friends, so Dan decided to suit up Spider Pig in his garb and take pictures for our friends to see. And wouldn't you know we had multiple spider pigs turn up...(sorry for the blurry and poor quality pictures...the husband was trying to take them w/o a flash)
The original Mortar Spider Pig
Mo Spider Pig (and not very happy about it)
Bear Spider Pig
Mason in an action pose:
And last, but never least, Brick in his typical "irritated" expression. Or perhaps he's looking thoughtfully into the distance:
Note how the costume barely fits around him. Our little porker, he is.
Next year I want to try the dinosaur. Hee hee.
