For the love of Pete! Ozzy's med thread

I just got off the phone with Dr. A. Surgery started late and there were complications. The stone was stuck down in the area where the bladder empties into the urethra.
She tried flushing it with no luck. Then she tried to use a catheter coming in from his penis. This actually went through the urethra and puncutured his abdomen.
After that was repaired she made the decision to close him up. They took another x-ray and there is no stone. But she can't find it anywhere!
He's waking up now but she wants to keep him for observation because of all the complications. She wants to make sure he urinates ok and stays warm, etc.
I will bring him fresh hay and pellets and scritches tonight. I will most likely bring him home on Saturday for the weekend but bring him back to the dr on Monday for more observation.
God, I hope he pulls through this ok. He deserves to hang on and be around another year or so, at least!

Ozzy made it through the night! Thank you God.
He has eaten and has had water. He is peeing and pooping. There is some blood in his urine but I understand some is normal right after surgery? Right? He is also taking his meds like a trooper.
The doctor was with a patient when I called but she will call me back to let me know when I can pick him up today for home care.
