I also learned to ignore some heavy squabbling, which my personal pigs had never done, so I hadn't seen it. If they aren't drawing blood or locked in a flying furball, you really do have to be stoic about the fighting while they work it all out.
I'm debating whether I should take them home given their new roomate status but if they are in such tight quarters I don't want something bad breaking out while I'm driving.
- Let Sleeping Pigs Lie
You are wise to consider this possibility. My girls get along, but they do not like sharing a carrier. I once tried putting them together in a large pet carrier for a vet visit, and they squabbled.
If you want to bring the pigs with you, I know that some GL member build temporary car carriers out of C&C materials, and other use the tall, plastic Rubbermaid bins.
There's no issue if they are separated for 1hr or so right? As in losing some of the progress they've made learning to be roomates so early in the process?
