Bethie:
We are thinking about her A LOT. If only her kidneys would have continue to function. I think it is part of the big circle of life. But it doesn't help. We do miss her. Thanks for your kind words!
Mum:
yes they do, thanks to everyone who helped, like you. And a lot of patience and love!!!

First: DISINFECTION. each day. everything ( toys, houses, name it!
2nd: take your pig to the vet for a skin exam and sample.
3rd: Nizoral bath each week for each pig that you have
4th: Griseofulvin, the smallest dosage possible
5th: Program
6th: continue prevention and give mite treatment once a week.
7th: topical cream for fungal infection: Canestan or Monistat.
ANOTHER VET EXAM after the second/4th/ etc week or as needed.
8th: keep away the other animals to not recycle the disease.
9th: SUPPORT; Without it, it would have been way harder!
10th: Don't give up: you can win. All you need is patience time and love..Not necessarily in that order;)
I guess I did not forget anything...
tip: *Barbie* doll ( or similar size doll) socks: helps wrap paws nicely and keep those claws from scratching at the wounds.

Yeeee hawwww, the girls look Great!
It was a very long road for you, but you NEVER GAVE UP. Great job on being their light.
Thanks for updating the thread, it was so nice to see the girls.
P.S. How did you get all of them to stay in line for the picture?

Erin and PaisCashGingGang:
the brats were waiting for their treat: while I clean one part of the cage, my husband attracts them with their favorites yumyums at the other end...lol
tracis: thank you
AND DON'T FORGET TO WEAR GLOVE AND SOMETHING OVER YOUR CLOTHES! Forgot to mention it.
I usually played on the safe side and changed each time I was finished with the pigs.
