I've just seen these bags of dry herbs in the area of pets stuff in a shop, so I wondered if the piggies can eat this. Can they?

I highly doubt they'd be interested. The texture is all wrong and the pieces are so small.

Fresh herbs, though, are frequently highly prized by pigs!

Mine adore mint and basil.

Some pigs enjoy some dried herbs, you just have to experiment.

I have been thinking of trying Mint / Basil myself.

Thanks for replying.

Well, I guess there's only one way to find out then ;-)
I'll get some soon, it's not dear anyway.

I got some from Oxbow and when I offered them to the guys I got reactions ranging from stink eye to indifference. I ended up using them for potpourri (they smelled nice)!

I don't think they'd like them as much as the fresh ones, unless they are very hungry.

Keep in mind, if an herb is not good for piggies in fresh form it wouldn't be good in the dry form, either.

Thanks to all of you for your tips!

I'll try anyway, there were different types and some looked a bit like hay with almost no leaves, so perhaps they could like that.

I'll tell you their reaction when I get the herbs :-D

Princess, if you don't know what it is with 100% certainty, please don't feed it.

I'll check well the components and anything else, don't worry ;-)

I'll check well first, that's why I came here first to ask about it ;-)
