I've just now read this thread from start to finish.

I am so sorry for the loss you have had to deal with StF and T. I'll chime in with everyone else and just say how happy I am to know this pig and her baby died in the care of someone who truly appreciated them and gave them comfort, rather than the awful cage and conditions they were in when you first accepted them into your care.

Thank you both, for reaching out to these pigs and doing what you have done even knowing the heartache that you could be facing from the get-go.

Feylin, those are wise words.

Talishan, do not take any blame for any of this. We both did our best and what we thought was right. So did the vets. The blame lies with the idiots that let her get pregnant in the first place.

Terry and I picked a nice shady spot underneath the Butterfly Bush for Mia and Snowy. They were wrapped together in a towel. The bunny I received from my SSSS, dgarriques, is watching over them and making sure they have an unending supply of lettuce and carrots. Maybe they can sneak some to McMac too!

Wow I totally missed this whole thing! I am so sorry about all this STF! You did so well taking care of them.

Talishan, don't you dare beat yourself up about this or I'll have to play the message you left for me after Sammie died to you!

StF, thank you so much for giving them such a beautiful resting place.

We have a butterfly bush in the front yard, and James in particular really likes it. I will show him your photo. I think it will be very special to him.

It is a wonderful resting place for such a special pair, and even with a little friend to watch over them.

Wow, I just read this whole thread. You guys really worked your butts off to save these little ones. I don't know how I missed this thread and I'm really sorry I did.

I'm glad Mamma Mia and Snowy knew love and compassion with you. I'm so very sorry that you lost them. I'm thinking of you, and I'm hoping for the best with Nala. She's gorgeous.

I'm so sorry to hear it...you did so much to help them. And, most importantly, you gave them love.

STF-I am so sorry for the loss of Mia and little Snowy. You did so much for them. It must be incredibly hard to have gone through it all. Thank you for giving them a loving home and a lovely burial site. You are a wonderful, special person.

Thank you all, again, for your kind and comforting words. We feel closure after burying the two sweet piggies yesterday.

Here is Nala today. I cleaned cages with a fury yesterday, baby proofed Nala's cage and took out all the "lips" she was having to jump over. I can tell she is getting more and more uncomfortable. I can feel movement but I have no idea how many she is carrying.

And here she is sharing morning hay with her friend Turco.
