Boo. That stinks. I got my grids a while back, so I'm good, but if I ever need to replace them....
I've just completed my pigs first permanent C+C cages (only taken...two and a half years to get to this stage!)
My boys Bachelor pad. Frank and Josef's 2x5 cage. This cage sits on top of a futon base (as it was the only way to have both the futon and the pigs in a cage) and I had to cable tie 3 of the grids together on each size to fit it on there.
The Harem. Charlie, Josephine + Caramel
I'm rather proud of how the cages turned out, as it was my first attempt at building a permanent c+c. My pigs seem to be loving it at any rate, Josed popcorned for the very first time when I put him in the cage and I was sobbing with joy at that, knowing that all my begging and pleading had finally paid off and my pigs were finally living in the lifestyle they deserved.

Those were the last coloured grids in my state...and as far as I know the last in Australia as I've never seen another Big W/Kmart/Target have them in stock since. They came in packs of 4 grids in each colour, red, blue, green and yellow...they were danged expensive too...but the colour coded cages look so good :D
We have a 2x4 C&C cage & want to add a 2nd level.
I like BG Pigs cage on pg. 5, but with a bridge/ramp combo like Feylin has on pg. 10.
What is a good width for a ramp?
Do they need room to pass & turn around?
We have 1 pig & want to adopt another.

Does anyone know if these grids from Walmart are still the right size? It seems they will ship them to the store for free. If they're the right size, I may stock up for my future adopters and myself.

Best I know the Walmart grids are the right size. I've never bought them, but I believe they're listed on GPC.
PiggysGrammy, I like for my ramp to be wider than 1 pig but no, they don't need to be able to truly turn around. Ramps with sides help the pigs feel more confident and often helps them learn how to go up and down easier.

New apartment, new city, calls for a cage redesign! Here is the latest model.
