Yes, well, I´ve certainly learned my lesson this time! Not planning on adding to the herd for a while, but any future pigs will be getting the full treatment. It´s just not worth what the poor things have gone through this week.

And don´t forget it´s way cheaper to treat one new pig than the whole herd.

With the towels, I´d cook the heck out of them. In other words, use hot water to wash and rinse them and dry them on a high setting. It worked when the kids got lice and strep.

Don´t know what it was, E. If I didn´t know better, I´d say it was a full moon and all the boards had gone crazy.
I got rid of all the spaces so it is smaller. Now we are wondering what marvelous words you deleted.....

I was just trying to suggest putting the towels in the dishwasher. The drying cycle is hotter than any water you´ll have in your home (unless you boil the towels) and it´s proven to kill almost any germ or bacteria.

Good thinking, E. This probably sounds crazy, but with or without the detergent?
