The Tale of My Insane Cavies
So, it appears that my time with Mack and Duff is nearing an end. They are most likely going home with their new forever family on Thursday. It's going to be really bittersweet; I've gotten so attached to these little guys, but at the same time it will be great to see them with their new family.
Another effect of this development is that I will probably have a new foster or two on Sunday!

Yep, they went to their new home just now. Their adopters are a wonderful couple who have adopted piggies from MGPR in the past. They're planning on adding a hayloft to their cage, just because Mack and Duff loved the one I've got so much. I've also made them promise to send lots of pictures, so I'll be sure to pass those along.
Mack is the socially maladjusted one. I had to warn his adopters that if he chatters at them or Duff, he's just being weird and doesn't mean anything by it.

Here are my 2 newest boys! Their names are Blade and Sparky. They're 2 years old and bonded. Neither seem to be too used to people, but they're catching on to the fact that people can be okay pretty fast. Blade is also a very interesting-looking ridgeback. And Sparky could practically be a stunt double for Elsie!
The 3LP family has two very special furry guests for the holidays! Who wants to guess who they are?
Dingdingding! Jane is right! Their forever parents brought them here for vacation! It's good to see them again. They're very chubby, just how I like my pigs.
I'll work on a nice photo shoot for y'all soon.

Jane, I could petsit the piggies next time you go out of town, if that would help you out.
I got some photos of the gang today. None of them seemed very enthusiastic about the ordeal, though, and they mostly sat and stared at me the entire time.
Snickers and Elsie. Snickers looks like a greaseball because I've been rubbing Vitamin E on him for his dry skin.
Sparky and Blade. Blade has really come out of his shell and become a very friendly pig. He comes up to the side of the cage and just lets me pick him up now!
Mack and Duff are back!
