I hope she will soon log on and fill in the details
Okay.. here's the details on how to cut the tiles.
** IF YOU HAVE KIDS, DO THIS WHEN THEY'RE ASLEEP, OR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THE ROOM YOU'RE CUTTING THE TILES **

Step 1: Measure where you want to cut the tile.

Step 2: Heat up your utility knife. This is how I do it. Put the utility knife on the stove on high for 1 minute.

Step 3: Hold the tile vertically, then put the tip of the knife in one of the holes, then make the cut. If the knife is hot enough, it will be very easy to cut. *feels like cutting butter*. If it's not hot enough, repeat step 2.

The hot knife idea came from this page: http://www.instructables.com/id/Hot-Kni ... -Cutting!/

So 2 tiles equals a 1x2 kitchen?
Yes, 2 tiles are about the size of 1x2 kitchen. You'll probably need to cut off the holes where it connect to the other tile.
Here's the product specs.

I forgot to mention. DO wear oven mitts while holding the knife. The handle can get hot.

Wow, thanks for the explanations lissie. :)
Yeah, I tried trimming the tiles to size, but I feared for my appendages and life.
Thankfully, she was just a block down-dat-way, so I brought everything to her.
It is only $10 to give it a try, won't hurt!
Oy, now I sound like a salesman. :p

Have a lovely weekend everyone, remember to hug your moms on Sunday! :)

Well momo you'll be happy to know that the tiles I found though a wee bit bigger in the hole department, its still small enough to be okay for little piggie feet. So thanks to a husband who LOVES to put things together, I put the new tile mat in the cage. Husband loves it as so far no wood stove pellets have been shot out of the cage along with a some random beans.

I just got up, a little late for me since its 9am here. So I'm going to spot clean all the beans, so much nicer to spot clean.

I'll have pictures up in my chronicles later.

Love the latest pig pics. Especially the ones wishing a happy birthday. Very cute.
