Here's one I made for somebody. It's a 2x5. Uses Closet Maid shelving from the Home Depot in 16 inch depth.

Travelingirl916, that is really nice one! Does it just rest over the top of the cage (I'm guessing also with zip ties on the back to hold it better)? If we ever have non stacked cages at some point, I want to do lids like that.

Thanks so much for the pictures! I know exactly what they are now. =) Found some at Home Depot, and had them cut to size!

Thank you. Yes it rests on the top of the cage. I made it for someone who wanted to keep their toddlers from messing with the pigs (they didn't have any other pets) and they said they would use locks to lock the lids to the grids when they weren't around to supervise.

I use padlocks on my lid too.

They keep even my chubby chubster kitty out.

I like those lids. I dont have a lid on mine since it is on a stand and is 2 storys. I think it is great for you to have a lid.

I have had a male jump over the grid to get to the girls next door. Luckily, there were no pregnancies. A CLoset Maid lid went on pretty quickly.
