First, there was this picture in an ad on Craigslist for a guinea pig named Snickers.

Image

I had to make him mine. And he puts up with me, mostly. As long as we are all clear that he is the BRAVE TOP PIG, INTERNATIONAL PIG OF MYSTERY.

Image

Next, SlaveToFuzzy gave Snickers a buddy...

Image

They mostly got along.

Image

Not quite a year ago, Charleston Chew Chocobutt went to the snuggle sack in the sky. :(

Image

So STF found us Miss Ouiser Boudreaux, to help us out with organizational and folding problems we didn't even know we had.

Image

In many ways, she's Snickers's karmic payback for dominating Charlie.

Image

This spring, STF craftily asked me to "transport" some pigs to her rescue and let them "stay" with me "overnight"... One of them looked at me like this.

Image

He's a charmer... and while he was living with STF, he charmed his way into the good graces of this young lady...

Image

And now Albert Butterbean and the lovely Cookie live with us too!

Image

"We're not sure we like them. We're not sure we like this carrot either."

I love Ouiser's little round tummy, and her constant state of bed head, just like Rosie.
I can't wait until you get them all in one spot for a meet and wheek.

They are ALL so, SO super adorable,
but somehow Ouiser just charms my socks of with her cuteness.

It's the attitude. They're all full of attitude in their own ways, but she's just extra-brimming with beans. :)

STF is like a dealer. She knows she has it; she knows you want it. She doesn't even have to pressure you! Your first taste (or overnight visit) is free, but once you're hooked, you keep going back!

Alden- I can't believe the resemblance between Mr. Butterbean and my Chex.

Image

And this: Image

Where does Mr. Butterbean hail from? Was he ever up north?

Wow, from the right angle they look identical!

I don't know Albert's whole story, and what I do know is confusing. Dumped at a pet store and then passed around by friends? I didn't hear anything about Yankee origins though. :-)

Albert has super-powers. Here, be demonstrates two: carrot-eating and focus-foiling with his photograph-fooling fuzz!

Image

Here he demonstrates his adoration for Cookie. He loves her SO much he throws himself between her and a live carrot. Who knows what might have happened otherwise!!

Image

"You aren't amusing, new-mom."

Image

In other news, my sweatshirt was clean today, but it felt weird... a little scratchy and hot and occasionally making strange noises. Look what I found when I unzipped!

Congats on your 2 new fur kids. I knew Albert was destined for your home when you kept mentioning him in your postings. Who can blame you, he's adorable with his fluffy sideburns. Cookie looks like a charmer too. I think her name suits her to a T.

Husband: Um, I think your lower pigs escaped.

Me: WHAT?? Is the door open?

Him: No, but they're not in there!

Me: Well, are there any pig-shaped lumps of fleece in the floor?

[Pause]

Him: Yeah, okay.

What? Those pigs did NOT burrow here! Srsly, you are breaking them! Snick doesn't burrow here either. I think you need to bring everyone here.
