Tonight was the most Norbie has weighed in the past week!! Yippie!!

(I hope nobody is sick of me posting the weights...Its the one way I can keep track and seeing it typed out helps. I also really notice how she can fluctuate in a day)

She seems to be doing good! I would like to see her back up to her normal 1000+g but we are taking it one day at a time!

Wonderful, wonderful news!!!

I think it is very helpful to continue posting her weight chart. It does keep things in perspective and on track.

Ditto Tracis. More than one person has used a GL thread as their own record of weights, treatment, illness, progress etc. Nothing at all wrong with that.

LOL! She certainly needs to gain weight!

She is now fighting me when I give her the antibiotic. She is on Bactim/Septra Suspension. Today is her 12th day on it. The vet said to give it for 14 days but she seems absolutely fine. The incision is great! THere is clearly not any infection to worry about. Do you think it is ok to stop it?

I stopped the Metacam yesterday. The Doctor did not say how long to give that to her but she seems fine so I felt like it was ok to stop it.

Yay Norbie!!

Sakura had Metacam for 7 days. I stopped giving her the Baytril a day early, because she stopped eating, among other things.

Yeah! Both Sakura and Norbie are doing great. I think they have bother turned the corner!

Yup, Metacam for 7 days. Norbie and Sakura seem have the same sort of recovery. Its so nice to be just NORMAL. Yeah!

ps, the husband said Norbie is more perky then before the surgery! I still think she is too thin but I am used to FAT piggies.
