I just came in to find a lump of fleece running crazily around the lower level. After she jumped in there three times the other day I was ready to skin Ouiser, but when I bent down I found Ouiser sitting on a cup looking decidedly disturbed as the lump of fleece raced around her too! And boy did that lump scream as I attempted to rodeo it out from under the fleece. Snick = giant whiny baby.

"Our cage may be clean, we may be healthy and loved, and we may be chowing down on a handful of corn husks and silks that are deeeelicious, but we are suspicious of you and have complaints."
Ouiser: "I'm pretty sure she said this was MY pile of husks, Snickers. Yours is... somewhere else."

Those are some cuuute peeegs, AldenM1 :) Ouiser reminds me of Charlie. That abby attitude sure is hard to beat!

Went in this evening to discover the air vent in the pig room was blocked and I'd forgotten to open it. It wasnt hot-hot (Ouiser and Snickers still spent much of the afternoon borrowing!), but it was warm. I freaked out and put two ice blocks in each cage, under the fleece.
When I came back ten minutes later, I found the Snick literally chillaxing between the two upstairs blocks: front paws on one, butt on the other. He practically had a thought bubble over his head saying "ahhh.'

I just changed the ice packs. I removed the warm ones by loosening one of the gazillion clips holding our fleece in place, and I went to the freezer to swap them out. I was gone literally about 30 seconds.
I came back just in time to see the OuiserRoosterButt vanish into a fleece gap. The Snick was already underneath, running happily in circles.
I guess it's good when couples share interests and hobbies, right?
