Penny was spayed yesterday. She did very well during surgery and woke up right away. The vet said that her ovaries were quite cystic. Poor girly. I'm so glad we decided to have her spayed before anything worse could happen.
She is being so brave! It amazes me how well she is doing. I have part of the cage sectioned off for her. Poor Sheldon isn't too happy about that. They were trying to canoodle through the grid wall earlier. Silly Penny was screaming for her morning veg and even tried to stand on her hind legs to beg! Naughty little girl.
Here's a picture that I just took of her resting in her cozy.
Since he's such a sensitive little guy, I've been mixing his probiotic with a bit of Critical Care. I LOVES it! I hope he doesn't think he'll be getting CC everyday! His nosy is looking much better today, so hopefully he's on the mend!!
In other news, Penny seems so much happier since her spay!! She has always been a very happy girl, but she seems more bubbly. She has also been less of a bossy-pants to Shelly :D
